Sokhuoch began his hairdressing career as an apprentice at Vidal Sassoon Salons. As a stylist at Sassoon, he was chosen to travel extensively in national tours sponsored by Vidal Sassoon products.
In Minneapolis Sokhuoch served as Artistic director for the Aveda Corporation working directly under Horst, Aveda's founder. He created educational curriculums for the Horst salons, as well as the haircutting techniques for Aveda's advanced training seminars and national show network. Together with Horst, Sokhuoch participated in photographic and video collections featured internationally for trade and consumer publications.
In addition, Sokhuoch has served as National Director of Education for Heidi's Salons, partner, educational director and creative consultant for Art & Science Salons, and Modern Organic Products (MOP). Sokhuoch and longtime color partner, Pam Orfanos, opened Trianon in 2007. Trianon is an elegant studio dedicated to excellence in haircutting and hair color.
